  They could have improved with the consistency of the aides that came. We only had them for a couple of weeks. They did a really good job at supplying aides but it was the quality of the aides and could have had more consistent training.

  I like how they really try to match the caregiver to the customer. During the initial intake appointment, when the clinical coordinator came to the house and talked with us about the client's needs and got to know him, we appreciated that it was part of the service and not an extra charge. Just knowing that somebody could help my dad so we could go home was really important. He couldn't drive for a while so it was helpful having someone do errands with him and do light housework.

  They run the business very professionally. They are rated by Medicare. Elise gets him breakfast and entertains him, which may be reading or having music on, or watching TV that he enjoys. She accompanies us to his doctor's visits.

  I'd definitely recommend them. They do a good job. I like this agency because everyone I've spoken to has been pleasant. It's essential. She can't care for herself. She has two children but we both work. It's a situation where we can't be there for her 24/7, but BrightStar can. The value of the service is unquestionable. We need to have it.

  There is a lot of support. If I need to change a date or a time, that is easy. It has been wonderful for me so that I can get out of the house and run errands. My husband very much likes his caregiver. It would be better if the client was more motivated to help himself.
